THANK YOU !  to the Cast and Crew of
Harvey -- this production was a real
pleasure -- with such a good and
dedicated cast and crew, and I hope our
audience enjoys it as much as I have.

I believe live local Community Theatre is a
valuable part of our cultural experiences,
and I am glad for the opportunity to be a
part of it.

I'd also like to thank our patrons and
audiences for their continued support
of this important community service.

Thank you to The Charles Machine
Works and Ed and Mary Malzahn for
their generous gift of The Heritage
Center to the people  of Perry.

Interesting Little News Items
Bruce Atkinson
Dan Allen
Dan is an Associate District Judge
and a veteran favorite of  SCT
productions.  He  did the set &  the
fireplace mantle for "Harvey".  He
was last seen down at Charlie's
Place, enjoying the floor show with
Harvey, Miss Smethills, and Mrs. Ethel
Chauvenet.
Bruce is the current President of  the
Board of SCT. He played Jimmy
Hendrix in "Welcome to My
Nightmare",  and was in "Too Soon
for Daisies" and many other SCT
plays.  He was last seen at the Club
shouting that a large invisible
animal was ruining his golf game.
Patti Bloom
Bill Bullock
Patti is a gospel music performer
who appeared at SCT in "Too
Soon for Daisies."  She also
directed last summer's "West Side
Story". Patti's music can be found
at
www.madeofclaymusic.com
and at Soundclick.com.  She is
presently at Dr. McClure's chatting
it up with Dr. McClure's sister from
Wichita.
Bill makes his SCT debut in the role
of Dr. Lyman Sanderson. By day,
he does home repair...by night, a
web developer. He created SCT's
website.
 Find him searching the
sanitarium for Ruthie,  AND  also
at
www.madeofclaymusic.com,
Kandi Gibson
Kandi wears many hats: stage manager for
Harvey, acting in "Dupont Mississippi" & "Death by
Chocolate"...She painted the pictures that hang
over the fireplace in this production. She was last
seen sitting in a booth at Charlie's Place with
Elwood & Miss Smethills, seated directly across
from Harvey.
Brenda James
Brenda was on stage at SCT playing
the role of Covetta Phillips in
"Dupont, Mississippi"...she and her
sister Patti Bloom are appearing for
the first time together on stage with
SCT .   Rumor has it she dumped Dr.
Sanderson for  the drip from the Rose
Room at the Frontier Hotel.
Don Irwin
Vee Kennedy
Don is a favorite SCT veteran
player since the first season
1975-76...appearing in
"Mame", "Cactus FLower", and
"The Odd Couple" and others.
He has directed plays, he has
stage-managed, and held
many Board offices -- today
he drives for Apex Cabs &
enjoys listening  to birds --
when there ain't no birds !
Vee is a veteran of SCT and has devoted her
talents tirelessly as a director, acting as film
star Doris Day in "Send Me No Flowers" and in
many other plays, stage-managing, etc...
She can be found presently devoting her
time to talking to the Society Editor, Miss
Ellerbe ... trying to marry off Myrtle Mae... and
checking the bathtub for strangers.
Dave Muir
Dave played a psychiatrist
previously in "Sorry, Wrong
Chimney." He also was the
Narrator in "The Promise."  He
was last seen drinking beer in a
grove of maple trees in Akron,
Ohio, having his head stroked
by a strange, beautiful, quiet
woman whose name we do not
know.
Lisa Pankhurst
Ray Kukuk
Lisa is not a newcomer to  Stagecoach:  She
has appeared in "Music Man" & "Dupont
Mississippi",  and "Wrong Number."  She was
last seen in the Dowd Family Mansion kitchen
making sandwiches & coffee, and very
narrowly escaping the amorous advances of
Mr. Wilson .
Ray played in "Too Soon
For Daisies" and "Love,
Sex & the IRS" here at SCT,
and is a lot of fun to be
around.   It is widely
rumored that he has been
a regular dinner guest at
the Dowd Mansion-- that
is,  when he's not busy
nabbing psychos for Dr.
Chumley..
Jennifer Vester
Jennifer understudied Myrtle Mae, and has helped us out in many ways, by reading parts
for us in rehearsals, changing the scenery, and also as one of our prompters backstage.
Thank you !!  Jennifer was last seen looking for Veta's guest list and dusting furiously.
HARVEY

is a Pooka, and he goes about
at his caprice, playing mischief
wherever he wants upon
whomever he pleases ...
Stanley Bloom was kind enough
to bear the hot rabbit suit to be
our Harvey.  Reliable sources
have it that he has been
spotted leaning against lamp
posts at 18th & Fairfax in
Denver, Colorado, Los Angeles,
California,  and all other
intersections named 18th &
Fairfax across the country !

DAN ALLEN   DESIGNED & BUILT THIS AMAZING
SET:  IT'S MADE UP OF THREE PANELS HINGED ON
TWO PIVOT POINTS...A VERY SMART DESIGN -- IT
ALLOWS THE ACTORS TO QUICKLY AND EASILY
CHANGE THE SCENERY - IT SWINGS FROM LEFT TO
RIGHT & RIGHT TO LEFT GUIDED BY STURDY
CASTERS, AND THE ACTORS CAN MOVE THE
FURNITURE IN AND OUT OF THE FOUR DOORS USED
BY THE ACTORS TO ENTER & EXIT.     THANKS, DAN.
